Mick Ashworth

Mick Ashworth, Managing Editor of World Atlases at Collins Bartholomew, featured as one of Britain's leading cartographers in a recent newspaper feature. Mick is responsible for all Times and Collins world atlases including such titles as the market-leading The Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World and the award winning Collins World Atlas. He is also the current President of the British Cartographic Society.

All the reference mapping in these products is created from the extensive range of Collins Bartholomew digital map data.

This gives Mick a great deal of control as the maintenance and update of the data through to the final map creation and output is all carried out in-house.

It still gives me a buzz to see ideas for atlases and individual maps develop into published products.
